2ND ANNUAL ADOPTION CLINIC MATS 09 The 1st ANNUAL Adoption Clinic, held on Saturday night, March 29, 2008, following the Mid-America Truck Show (MATS), has been termed a success. The Metro Animal Services, Louisville, KY, brought in their S.P.O.T trailer filled with eight (8) pets to be adopted. ALL 8 pets found homes with truck drivers. Even one of our own drivers found a home for a pup she had rescued from a box left at a truck stop. Metro Animal Services have indicated they wish to be at the same location next year for all three days of the show. The dates for MATS are currently set for March 23-24-25, 2009. If you are looking for a traveling companion or one for the home, come see what they bring. |

2ND ANNUAL PET SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC MATS 09 The 1st ANNUAL pet spay/neuter clinic met with success. With only two weeks advanced notice, five (5) pets were spayed/neutered by the Metro Animal Services S.P.O.T Clinic, Louisville, KY. While this was not enough for them to bring out their S.P.O.T. trailer on-site, your advanced, confirmed appointment, and fourteen (14) more, through Operation Roger, will enable these to be done on-site next year. The current dates for next year's MATS is March 23-24-25. They also will offer Rabies shots and micro-chiping. Keep watch on this site for more information as the time approaches for MATS 2009. |

3RD ANNUAL OPERATION ROGER AUCTION MATS 09 The 2nd Annual Auction to benefit Operation Roger, held on March 29, following the close of MATS 2008, was a success thanks to all the hard work of O.R. drivers attending the show and the generosity of the drivers. The 3rd Annual Auction will be held next year on Saturday evening March 25, following the close of MATS 2009. Operation Roger ... Truckers Pet Transport is an all volunteer group of truckers. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. |
