#263 GREEN EYES (Kelpie) Cabool, MO - Mansfield, CT
GREEN EYES #263, a 2 mo 10# male Kelpie began his trip in Cabool, MO, with Susan, the rescurer, and Tawney, the foster Mom. Met in Springfield by team drivers Kris & Brandy P, Green Eyes made the trip ok but developed pink eye by the time he arrived in New Market, MD, about 18 hours later.
There, Sherry, a driver with Krystal's 4-Wheelers picked him up and took him to a vet the next day. Sherry will foster Green Eyes until another Kelpie, Red, arrives. Then, with the help of Clark with Animal Rescue Flights, he soon arrived home in Mansfield, CT, with his new Mom Cheryl.
Green Eyes and his sister, Red, were part of a litter found in a box alongside the road. They had been pulled from their mother too early, about 5 weeks, and had to be bottle fed. Some did not make it. This brother/sis were two of the lucky ones to find adoptive homes.
Operation Roger team drivers Kris & Brandy P pu 4/15/08 and transferred to Sherry w/Krystal's 4-Wheelers 4-16-08 then Clark of Animal Rescue Flights 4-24-08

Please forgive me for not doing this sooner. I misplaced your email addy and then forgot about doing this. I was just looking at some pics of Green Eyes aka Munchkin and remembered I hadn't sent these. It took me a while, but I found your addy. Please forgive me.
Here's the site from the pilots that flew the pups to Connecticut.

The following pics are from their time here with us. I'm also going to forward an email that Cheryl sent me after the pups arrived in Connecticut.
Hugs to you both for what you do for the animals!
Sherry
