#193 AURORA (Great Pyrenees) Dickson, TN - Bloomington, IL
Aurora #193, a Great Pyrenees, 2 years, 80 pound, Female had been housed at a Dickson, TN, vet when she found her ride with driver, John K. John and his lab companion, Buddy, met Aurora near Nashville. She slept most of the way to her new digs in Bloomington, IL. Enroute, Aurora and Buddy would alternate who sat in the passenger seat looking out the window as she made her way to her next adventure.
This girl was in horrible condition when she was saved from the pound. She has lost a significant amount of fur due to mange. She has been successfully treated and is fine, but she looks a wee bit sparse hair wise. She has been in quarantine being treated for mange and is going to the Central Illinois Great Pyrenees Rescue
John did report a bit of trouble. He was walking Aurora when a sudden downpour soaked them both. Just as he managed to get a large, soggy, white formerly fluffy dog into his truck, the rain stopped. Then Cindy B arrived to find a wet pet and driver.
