Success Stories
Operation Roger has had many happy endings from all the transports we have done. If you have a success story to tell us about a pet we have helped, please send an Email to operationroger01@yahoo.com and include a photo-we would love to share it with our visitors!
The latest completed transport stories are found under Information/Success Stories. We will add the update on the pet in red below our story. The stories found here are listed by the latest completed transport number at top. If you know your pets transport number, you may quickly find it in this manner. All of these stories will eventually be segmented into groups of about twenty.
This particular section you are reading now, located under Animals/Success Stories, lists the stories by the pet's transported alphabetical name. However, within the confines of each letter, the names may not be alphabetical. Confused? Don't worry. Scroll around and you will be able to locate your pet eventually. Sorry, but this is the result of the program, not us. If the pet’s name was changed enroute or at a later date, it will not show under the new name.
If you remember the approximate date of the transport and can't find your pet's story, Email us that information and transport name. We will endeavor to find the story for you.
We are always striving to improve our website. We hope you like what you see.

MUDFLAP2 #91
#91 MUDFLAP2 (Blue Heeler X) Kellyville, OK - San Antonio,TX
MUDFLAP2 #91, a 7 week old Blue Heeler X puppy, 10#, male was picked up in Kellyville, OK, by Driver Lewellu G. Mudflap2 was one of a littler literally left on a courthouse doorstep and taken to Creek Pet Adoption.
David and Molly M had recently lost another Blue Heeler puppy and wanted to get another one so they contacted Operation Roger. We had just learned about the puppies at Creek Pet Adoption and arranged a telephone meeting.
Lewellu picked up Mudflap2 and quickly discovered he didn't seem to be feeling well. Contacting Creek Pet Adoption owner, Carol Lawrence, Lew did treat the puppy as directed based on the symptoms described. Lew delivered Mudflap2 to his new owners, David and Molly.
Sadly, Mudflap2 got sicker and sicker. His new "Dad" and "Mom" took him to Lew's vet in AZ who had to deliver the bad news that Mudflap had either Parvo or Distemper and would not survive.
Everyone involved was devastated to learn of this development. On a happier note, after several weeks of observing the surviving siblings, none became ill and are healthy and well.

Theresa reports Gracie was very reluctant to enter into this strange place called a truck and hid out in her crate for about 45 minutes before deciding this ride wasn't so bad after all and coming out to see what it was all about. Once she had her break, along with her human companions, Gracie was ready to continue her journey, short as it was.
She was met in Harrison, NJ, by her new foster "Dad" Colin M who will arrange a meeting with Gracie's new forever home.
